HOW DO I CARE FOR MY LONG RIDING BOOTS PROPERLY?

Correct care will ensure a long life for your long riding boots, making them hard-wearing and at the same time soft and comfortable. For pre-treatment, remove coarse dirt from the upper material with a soft brush. Then clean the long riding boots with a soft shoe sponge and a suitable shoe care product. For your long leather riding boots, it is best to use a leather care product with as little water as possible. If your riding boots are made of synthetic leather, you can use a synthetic leather care product. Do not use water too sparingly. After drying, polish your long leather riding boots with a soft cloth. You can then apply a shoe wax and a waterproofing agent to textile shoes to maintain the dirt and water-repellent properties of your footwear.

WHAT DOES RIDING BOOT CARE INCLUDE?

The following items are necessary for correct boot care:

  • Leather care sponge
  • Cleaning brush
  • Soft brush
  • Care products, depending on the boot material
  • Soft cloths for polishing
  • Waterproofing agent or shoe wax
To transport and store your long riding boots safely, you will also need riding boot bags and boot trees.
