What is the best way to organise the tack room?

Tidiness is half the battle - this also applies to organisation in the tack room. Those who have a basic system in their tack room avoid grubby corners that attract pests, and have everything within reach in case of emergencies.

In open tack rooms where saddles and bridles are stored openly, each horse should have its own space. Saddle racks and bridle racks that can be screwed to the wall are lifesavers here. To prevent mix-ups, ideally name plates can be attached. Rug racks allow horse rugs to be hung up neatly and in a well-ventilated manner. This allows wet turnout rugs and wicking rugs to dry better and prevents potential mould formation.

Not only do the stable and aisle need to be swept daily, but the tack room should also be regularly swept so that a layer of grimy dirt doesn't build up in the corners or on the floor. For this, you can find wide stable and yard brooms with robust bristles among our tack room accessories.

With Kramer Equestrian, you can equip your tack room with useful accessories, reorganise it and keep it tidy. Sturdy bridle racks, stable hooks and saddle racks in various colours are helpful assistants to bring more order and cleanliness into any tack room. Your bandages will also find a well-ventilated storage space with the bandage holders from Kramer Equestrian. Not only proven at the riding arena or indoor school: whip holders from SHOWMASTER allow you to neatly line up as many as 11 whips.

Kramer Equestrian offers various systems for storing your horse rugs. A hanging rug rack takes up little space and is quickly assembled. Practical and very popular are rug racks with swivelling arms, which can be used to hang three to six rugs with ideal ventilation. However, you can also buy classic rug rack brackets from Kramer Equestrian.

For a visually more appealing tack room, each horse owner has their own tack cabinet.
