Probe fence testers need to connect to the earth and the fence. This tester has multiple lights showing the amount of voltage travelling through the fence in 6 levels, from 1000 to 6000 V.
Instructions: Hang the fence tester on its hook on a rope, tape or wire and then stick the earth probe on the cable into the soil. Includes earth probe.

Very useful tool to test the electric fence is working
The device reliably displays the voltage on the electric fence, but the blinking light is barely readable. You need to create a dimly lit environment to notice the blinking. This is an area where the manufacturer could definitely improve. #
Das Gerät zeigt die Spannung am Weidezaun zuverlässig an, jedoch ist die Blinkleuchte kaum ablesbar. Man muss schon einen abgedunkelten Raum schaffen un das Blinken zu erkennen. Hier könnte der Hersteller sicher nach bessern.
