Product Description
Dried and ground resin of the boswellia tree. In addition to essential oils and tannins, it also contains valuable boswellic acids which bind to an pro-inflammatory enzyme and can reverse its effect so that anti-inflammatory messenger substances are produced. In this way, they can - in a weakened form - have a similar effect to cortisone, but without impairing kidney activity. Ideally suited for administration in chronic inflammatory diseases of the locomotor system (e.g. arthrosis) or asthma. Can also be fed as a preventive measure to strengthen the joints in the case of high stress due to training or excessive weight.
Feeding instructions:
Large horses 10-15g daily at the beginning.
If well accepted, feeding can be slowly increased to up to 30g daily per animal.
For horses with sensitive stomachs, consult your veterinarian in advance if you are unsure about feeding. In case of overdosage, digestive disorders or even diarrhoea may occur.
