Product Description
Western Snaffle Bit with Billy Allen mouthpiece and D-ring cheek piece. Mild action on the tongue. Anatomically shaped. The Billy Allen-like mouthpiece has a wide cuff and roller. This exerts a gentle downward pressure on the tongue. The roller is used to calm horses with a rather restless mouth. The traditional D-ring cheek piece keeps the mouthpiece from stressing the tongue and gives a more direct communication than the ring-shaped cheek pieces. The effect is direct when the reins are shortened, the identical pressure of the reins is transmitted to the horse's mouth. The straight side of the D-ring cannot be pulled through the horse's mouth, pinching or clamping of the lips is therefore not possible. The diameter of the D-ring is 7 cm. Bit thickness 11 mm.
