The Knabstrupper is the oldest horse breed in Denmark and has an exceptionally beautiful, spotted coat. The dots and polka dots on the Knabstrupper's coat are as unique as his character. He is full of willpower, highly intelligent, ambitious, yet calm and well-natured. Therefore, the breed is also very good as a therapy horse. At the same time, however, the Knabstrupper can be pretty headstrong and stubborn. He who does not stay determined with him may realize soon that he will do what he wants. But he is also very loyal and would never leave his owner's side.
