The ground-breaking Amigo Fieldsafe Collection has been developed with the aim of providing maximum safety for the horse while withstanding all the rigours of turnout.

This is ensured by three safety surcingles with a predetermined breaking point, the slim disc chest fastener, robust hook and loop fasteners for attaching the neck piece, an elasticated PVC tail strap with a predetermined breaking point and hi-vis strips, thanks to which you can find your horse even in the pitch dark.

A revolutionary disc fastening that fully utilises the advantages of our V-cut. The lightweight, secure and ergonomic design connects the four fastening points of the V-neck and offers optimum comfort when grazing and on the move. The corrosion-free fastening lies flat against the horse's chest, eliminating the risk of snagging.

A quick release mechanism provides additional security. The Horseware safety surcingles were previously only available for Rambo rugs, but have now been integrated into the Amigo Fieldsafe range. It consists of a hook and loop fastener in combination with a simple plastic eyelet that connects the strap to the rug. The system can withstand a tensile force of up to 100kg. In an emergency, however, the eyelet breaks, sparing the strap and protecting the horse from injury. Hi-vis strips are located on the chest, sides and tail flap, ensuring visibility and therefore safety. They reflect white light when the beam of a torch or car passes over them. This makes them extremely helpful when horses need to be found in the dark to bring them in, or for evening patrols in the field.
