First and foremost, it is known for its ability to promote the natural function of blood circulation and thus, for example, increase the ability to concentrate and the willingness to perform. Ginkgo is said to have an antioxidant effect on the blood vessel walls and red blood cells, which can stimulate blood circulation in the skin, hoof, brain and other internal organs. For this reason, it is also often fed as a supplement to other herbs, as it can bring the active ingredient more quickly to its destination via the blood and thus accelerate the onset of the corresponding, desired effect at best. The focus and organ reference is clearly in the area of the heart and circulatory system. The blood supplies the body with oxygen, glucose and important nutrients (nutritive cell supply) and also ensures the removal of waste products. Thus, the supplementary feeding of ginkgo is not only suitable for seniors, but also for metabolic diseases such as laminitis, EMS or PPID.
Feeding instructions:
Horses (600kg bw) 20-40g daily.
Cobs and ponies 10-20g daily.
1 tablespoon corresponds to approx. 5g.
Ingredients: 100% ginkgo leaves (chopped).
