As an attractively priced basic model, this rug could be a saviour for your sweet-itch prone four-legged friend. It consists of a breathable, thin functional fibre material and has the advantage that it dries particularly fast. This model can also guarantee safe UV protection. Neck and tail are optimally covered. There is also a removable belly flap with clips. Despite the all-round protection, the rug offers optimum freedom of movement on the paddock thanks to the elastic material! Elastic on the legs and head prevent the blanket from slipping. We also recommend the matching THERMO MASTER Sweet-itch Mask (Item no. 421 898), which can easily be attached to the neck with Velcro fasteners and provides protection for the head and eyes (not included wtih the rug!!). Lovely fit & keeping our miniature Shetland cool & comfortable from the midges
Ended up binning the rug after three days, quality was crap and the elastic snapped.
A really good fit for my horse and great value.
Excellent design. Not quite as "field proof" as other rugs as material slightly thin and on a couple of seams, would maybe benefit from some extra itching. But an excellent style none the less. Covers my daughters horse really well. Groovy design too.

This is a good rug. I have a horse who scratches a lot so I get through two of these rugs each summer.
