Neon yellow vs. reflective

High-vis vests, jackets and other accessories in neon yellow are just as essential as silver reflective gear. Reflective material increases visibility in the dark, whilst classic fluorescent neon colours are better suited to improving visibility in daylight. Your horse should also be made more visible using illuminating or reflective accessories. Our LED Breastplate and the matching Leg Bands Loom are rechargeable via USB cable and provide optimal illumination for your horse’s chest and legs. More is more. Colourful light-up collars like these are sure to attract attention in traffic.
  • It’s all in the mix: A colourful combination of different reflective and light-up accessories is ideal for drawing attention to yourself in the dark. Depending on the weather, geographical conditions and traffic levels, this increases the likelihood of being noticed, even if the reflective strips on your jacket are dirty or the battery in your LED lights is dead.
  • The more, the better: Even if you feel like a festively decorated Christmas tree. The more reflective or light-up items you wear, the more likely you are to be spotted by other road users. Always bear in mind that your horse or dog must also be fitted with sufficient reflective gear so that, in an absolute emergency, you’re all visible even when separated.
  • Multifunctional accessories: Don’t want to miss out on your evening walks with your horse, even in autumn and winter? Why not invest in a reflective headcollar and lead rope? Reflective items really pay off when you can use them outside the stable as well. You can also use your reflective gilet when out jogging or walking the dog in the dark.
