Product Description
Gentle, anatomically shaped beginner's bit from Sprenger. Made of high-quality stainless steel with copper inlays to improve chewing on the bit. When the reins are shortened, the bit turns with the reins and acts on the tongue. The side bars rest on the mouth and lips without pinching them. The Billy Allen-like mouthpiece has a wide cuff and roller. The cuff exerts a slight pressure on the tongue and rolls downwards. Since the two sides of the mouthpiece can be moved independently, it is possible to work specifically on one side of the horse. The roller is used to calm horses with a rather restless mouth. Thanks to short shanks, the leverage is less than with conventional shanked bits. The upper cheek bar has a flattened ring and is slightly curved away from the horse's head to avoid pressure points. Length of the shanks 12.5 cm. Bit thickness 11 mm.
