Which riding gloves are suitable for winter?

Cold fingers and fingertips quickly become immobile, which can massively restrict fine rein assistance when riding or when working at the yard. Winter riding gloves should therefore be warmly lined and allow the fingers sufficient freedom of movement. Reinforcement between the fingers and the palm of the hand is important for a good grip on the reins, when mucking out or even lungeing. Adhesive materials such as synthetic leather or silicone prints are recommended for rein reinforcement on winter riding gloves. Taking off your gloves to operate the phone in cold temperatures can quickly lead to icy fingertips. To make it possible to operate the display while wearing riding gloves, there are winter gloves with touchscreen-compatible fingertips on the thumb and index finger.
Which winter riding gloves are right for you depends on your preferences and needs. In our shop you will find a wide range of winter riding gloves from different brands, so you are guaranteed to find what you are looking for.

Which riding gloves help against cold fingers in winter?

In winter, mittens keep your fingers warmest. Here the fingers, apart from the thumb, are inserted into a single compartment. This way, the fingers warm each other. However, mittens can be extremely impractical for stable work and riding, as you lack the mobility of the individual fingers.
A better alternative is to wear gloves with a thinner lining. This way you can take off the thicker glove and keep the thinner glove on without getting cold fingers.
If you want to enjoy long winter rides with warm fingers, you can use heated undergloves. These provide pleasantly warm fingers by means of a wireless, rechargeable heating system.
In our shop you will find a variety of warm winter riding gloves with fleece lining, soft shell outer material or knitted fleece in creative designs.
