Face materials are considered waterproof from a waterproofness of 1,300 mm/m2/24 h. A waterproofness of 3,000 mm/m2, for example, means that a cylinder filled with water can be filled to a height of 3,000 mm at 60 mbar/min before water penetrates the fabric. Apart from the water column, the coating and the waterproof processing of the seams are decisive factors - these should be laminated/taped or welded.
