Product Description

Whole fruits with valuable ingredients. Rose hips with natural vitamin C are known for their positive effect on the immune system. Also ideal as a treat.

Details: Rose hips are fruits of various rose species and are characterised by a variety of valuable ingredients. The high vitamin C content of rose hips remains fully contained even when dried and can contribute to strengthening the horse's immune system. The bioavailability of vitamin C is increased by the high zinc content, which is particularly beneficial in the cold season. Other vitamins, minerals and trace elements that make rose hips effective immune boosters are vitamins A, E and the vitamin B complex as well as calcium, iron and magnesium, among others. Furthermore, rose hip peels contain digestive pectins, which have been proven to contribute to a faster regeneration of the intestinal mucosa. The high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids contributes to a shiny coat and healthy skin of the horse.

Feeding: Rose hips in dried form can be fed to a 600kg horse in a daily amount of up to 40g. Rose hips can also be used as a healthy alternative to conventional treats.

Ingredients: 100% whole rosehips.
