Complements the feed ration with the "hoof vitamin" biotin. Studies have shown that a daily supplement of 20 mg biotin improves the horn quality. Furthermore, zinc, copper and sulphur are needed for a strong hoof horn. Many feed rations nowadays contain a sufficient amount of these micronutrients, however, biotin is often not included. This supplementary feed is thus especially suitable for rations in which the extra portion of biotin is missing.

Pure biotin, as advised by nutritionalist if feet need more than recommended minimal quantity of balanced hard food. Condition of horse proves advice was good (18m on).
